Decatur Public Library

We are open!

During this pandemic, we appreciate your patience as we follow protocols to keep everyone—our community members and our staff—safe. We ask that you wear a mask at all times while you are in the library; if you do not have one, we have disposable masks available. We have reopened on a limited basis, and are ensuring that we follow all recommended health practices, including social distancing, disinfecting highly-trafficked areas, and wearing PPE.  Thank you for your support of Decatur Public Library.

For the contact free method:

How to get started

  • You can start contact-free tax preparation from this website. Click here to start an intake form.  We want to be able to help you within a reasonable time. If we are too busy helping earlier clients the form may not be available right now and you have to try again later.

Please give us complete documentation; your return is only as good as the information you provide.

We email you from AARP Tax-Aide Decatur TX Our phone calls may come from 617-675-4444 (Massachusetts) or from 817-382-2096.  Please respond to those numbers.

If you need in-person help with your tax preparation you can make an appointment with the Azle Public Library by calling 817-752-2682, or you can visit the Azle Public Library and pick up a packet of forms.
