The Decatur Police Department's goal is to make the Christmas Holidays brighter for the many children who have no control over their families unfortunate circumstances during the holidays.  The police department, being a very family oriented department, believes that every child deserves the joy and magic of Christmas.  The Santa Cops program provides new unwrapped toys to children in the Decatur area that would otherwise go without during Christmas. Each year the police department and the citizens police academy volunteers deliver the toys to families on Christmas Eve, ensuring that children will not miss the Christmas Spirit.   


How Can You Help With Santa Cops?



 Anyone wishing to make donations can drop off new, unwrapped toys at the Decatur Police Department lobby or can send a monetary donation to Decatur Police Department, c/o Santa Cops, 1601 S.
